IronSite Challenge
A community challenge on real construction-worker data, organized with IronSite.
About the Challenge
The workshop will host a challenge organized by IronSite, a construction technology startup that deploys camera-embedded smart hard hats to analyze physical work on jobsites.
IronSite will prepare a dataset of open-source construction worker data from a variety of construction sites. We invite the community to submit machine learning-based solutions to the tasks below, with evaluation conducted on a public server. Results will be announced during the workshop, and winners will be invited to present their approaches.
Challenge Tasks
Labor allocation tracking
Estimate how work crews are distributed across tasks and areas of a jobsite.
Construction progress monitoring
Track task completion and progress from first-person jobsite footage.
Safety and PPE violation flagging
Detect safety hazards and personal protective equipment (PPE) violations.
