Yantao Yu
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology
Dr. Yantao Yu is the Director of the Human-Centered Intelligent Construction Lab and the Associate Director of the Center for Digital Twin on the Built Environment. Her ongoing work includes robotic floor tiling, collaborative robots in construction, construction skill transfer learning, and vision-language BIM reconstruction.
Fumiya Iida
University of Tokyo
Dr. Fumiya Iida is a Professor of Robotics at the University of Tokyo and a Research Professor at the University of Cambridge. Dr. Iida is the Academic Lead on the Digital Roads project in the UK, investigating autonomous road repair. The project involves research in multimodal perception, precision material deposition, whole-life costings, updated standards, and workforce considerations.

IronSite is a venture-backed construction technology startup founded in 2024 in San Francisco. The company deploys camera-embedded smart hard hats that capture real-time first-person jobsite video footage, where computer vision models analyze physical work as it happens to track labor productivity, optimize workforce allocation, monitor task completion, and detect safety hazards.
